In accomplishing this assignment, I learned that procrastinating is bad. Although I did start this project in a timely fashion, I know that if I had not, I might not have finished. Also, I learned how to think creatively. When I got to the big numbers, I was just about out of ideas, so I had to put on my thinking cap and stretch some ideas so they would work.

Assignment #1: Scavenger Hunt

I learned that I need to get more practice with taking pictures in manual mode. I feel that if I can master that task, my pictures will turn out much better. This exercise was a fun way to get us to go out and take pictures of random subjects, something I rarely do because I usually am taking pictures of people.

Goals for VAPHO 116

I want to learn the technical aspect of photography so I can take better pictures. I have enjoyed photography as a hobby my entire life, but I want to know how to make it my profession. I also want to learn as much as I can so that I will be ready when it's time for me to apply into the photography program and be able to give it my best shot (and hopefully be accepted!).
